Britney Spears’ latest single is reportedly delayed because of problems together with the Toxic singer’s voice.

Plans release a the 34-year-old singer’s new track Make Me (Oooh) were postponed recently, because of “techinical production difficulties” without the need of new date announced.

And based on editors at British newspaper The Sun, the possible lack of new Britney material is reportedly because record company bosses are unhappy together with the Baby One More Time musician’s vocal focus on the song.

“The single is really a nightmare for all involved,” a resource tells the paper. “When it reduced to the final version from the track, the label just didn’t like her voice as well as the producers were struggling making it work using the recordings that they had.”

The publication reports producers and executives have allegedly held emergency meetings that has a view to transforming the track making it ready for release.

“They’ve aimed to find someone to include some guest vocals to boost the track rather than finding in time Britney’s schedule to re-record – but they’ve really struggled,” the insider adds. “It’s been very stressful, the track needs to have been out years ago now.”

Make Me (Oooh) is scheduled to get the lead single from her ninth studio album, the making date which is also yet to get announced.

In May, Joe Riccitelli, the Executive Vice President of Britney’s record label RCA Records told America’s Billboard magazine he was, “waiting to be with her to finish the album,” and was “really excited” around the record.
