Using less than two months to go, typically the cast of Hairspray Reside! is getting into character.
The celebs of the upcoming NBC musical technology took to social media about Wednesday morning to share the initial photo of the cast most dressed up and ready to welcome us all to the ’60s!
Newcomer Maddie Baillio takes center stage within the cast photo, sporting your ex signature Tracy Turnblad frizzy hair and a bright blue outfit. Just behind Baillio are generally Harvey Fierstein and Jack Short, who will play Tracy’s parents, Edna and Wilbur Turnblad, and Jennifer Hudson, dressed in a purple frock as Motormouth Maybelle.
Ariana Grande is perfectly positiioned in Penny Pingleton’s pigtails for the group shot, located next to Garrett Clayton’s Url Larkin, and in front involving Ephraim Sykes’ Seaweed Stubbs. Rounding out the photo about the right are Kristin Chenoweth and Dove Cameron while mother-daughter duo Velma as well as Amber von Tussle, and also Derek Hough as Old fashioned Collins himself.
While not imagined, Billy Eichner, Sean Hayes, Andrea Martin and Rosie O’Donnell will also star inside the live musical.
Hairspray Stay! will air Wednesday, 12. 7 at 8 r. m. ET/PT on NBC.
